- EdOptions Online Academy Announces New Director Scott Lobdell
- We are excited to announce that Scott Lobdell, former Assistant Director of Blue Ridge International Academy, has become the new Director of EdOptions Online Academy. Scott has helped manage the development and operation of the Academy for several years and has 17 years of prior experience as an educator in Palm Beach County, Florida. He has served as a teacher, guidance counselor, coach and administrator. Mr. Lobdell created the implementation plan that helped Palm Beach County's Virtual Credit Recovery Program reach a 93 percent success rate for the past three years.
- Now Offering Additional School Solutions
- EdOptions Online Academy has expanded its educational solutions for schools to include assessments and remediation classes now available for individual purchase, and online tutoring. We will continue to expand the customized solutions we offer to schools and educators.
- New Honors Courses Now Available
- EdOptions Online Academy is thrilled to announce that we have more than doubled the number of honors courses in our curriculum, and we now offer 17 high school honors courses online. Honors courses parallel the regular course content, but are more challenging, have more assignments and require a greater time commitment. With the incorporation of extra papers and projects, students utilize higher-level thinking skills and apply what they learn through more rigorous assignments.

- EdOptions Online Academy is partnering with Focus EduVation to provide specialized, one-on-one online tutoring. Online tutoring services are available to EdOptions Online Academy students, as well as students enrolled in other schools who are in need of extra instruction and learning materials.

- Faculty from EdOptions Online Academy, formerly "EdOptions Online Academy," are featured guests on a special-interest edition of Designing Spaces, a TV show that aims to inform and inspire viewers to enhance the spaces that surround them.
