High School Graduation Requirements
We are committed to preparing all students for further education, employment, and lifelong learning. With these goals in mind, EdOptions Online Academy graduation requirements are both rigorous and comprehensive. A total of 21 credits are required for graduation:

Maintaining Active Status
Diploma-seeking students must successfully earn two credits within a school year and be enrolled in at least one course each semester to maintain active status. Students may apply for a semester-long leave of absence from the school. If active status is interrupted for longer than one semester, students are required to re-apply and their graduation status is reassessed before they can continue with their program.
Program Completion
A student enrolled in a diploma program has a maximum of five years to complete the program. Students must maintain active status while completing their graduation requirements.
A student must earn at least three academic credits through EdOptions Online Academy to earn an EdOptions Online Academy high school diploma. All transfer credits from an accredited institution will be honored.
