Academics

EdOptions Academy curriculum consists of online courses that are proven to be effective.  The courses are rigorous, engaging, standards aligned, and most important, they work.  Give your students the choice of courses they are asking for; including, Advanced Placement®*, global languages, electives, and an extensive offering of core classes.

EdOptions Academy courses are aligned to Common Core, state, and national standards.  They also adhere to iNACOL National Standards of Quality for Online Courses. The 58 iNACOL standards provide evaluation criteria in the areas of course content, instructional design, student assessment, technology, course management, and 21st century skills.

Academic Advising

Students seeking an EdOptions diploma should meet with the school counselor at least once per school year. A counselor will review the students current transcript to make sure that the student is on track to receive an EdOptions diploma. Independent Student Academic Mentor Program

Mentors connect personally with Independent EOA students to offer support, navigate challenges, and be a consistent contact as they make their way through their high school programs.  There will be a variety of workshops presented and facilitated by the mentors and student volunteers. This is an opportunity for students to connect with academy staff and other EdOptions Academy students.

Please stay tuned for additional information.
