CASAS Prep

A collection of eight courses that are mapped to the CASAS assessed competencies, organized by level and by skill area; including competencies 0-7 and Basic and Secondary Reading and Writing skills. These courses target the reading, math, writing, science, social studies, and life skills necessary for basic skills literacy and career readiness. These courses incorporate a unit structure that offers exemptive unit pre-tests, summative post tests and end of course tests. Additionally each module of a course is also designed with mastery based learning design, with each topic area including an instructional tutorial and a mastery test checkpoint. These courses can be utilized as stand-alone instruction for CASAS prep and remediation as well as part of a larger adult education intervention solution.
