Is the EdOptions Academy accredited?

Our online school is accredited by AdvancED. This accreditation grants EdOptions Academy the unique ability to offer high school credits and diplomas recognized by schools and colleges across the country and world.

 

How long does it take for a learner to finish an online course?

Learners are given 18 weeks to complete an (semester-long) course. Our certified teachers and guidance counselors set benchmarks and help learners stay on schedule. Diploma-seeking learners have four years from the time of enrollment to meet the preset requirements and complete their high school graduation program.

Who teaches EdOptions Academy courses?

When learners enroll in Edoptions Academy classes, they are assigned state certified online teachers to assist with their coursework. Our online teachers help students understand class material and stay on track to achieve their academic goals. All EdOptions Academy teachers are certified in their areas of specialization, and have at least 3 years of classroom experience. Our teachers communicate regularly with learners through internal email and use the secure web-based system to manage student grades, assignments, and tests.

 

What does EdOptions Academy offer?

EdOptions Academy offers: (1) A high school diploma (2) Individual credits/courses from a library of over 400 K-12 courses including core, elective, Career and Technical Education, World Language, and Advanced Placement (3) High school equivalency exam preparation courses (GED®, TASC™, and HISET®). As an accredited online high school, credits earned are transferable to other schools, and we accept credits earned at other equally accredited schools.
